Today the House of Lords is due to begin the Committee stage of the Pensions Bill, introduced into Parliament on 5 December 2007. The Bill has already completed its passage through the Commons. As has become customary even at this late stage, the Government Minister, Lord McKenzie of Luton, has tabled an extensive raft of new Clauses and amendments.
