Pensions Act 2004 published

The Pensions Act 2004 (c.35) is published today* on the web and should be available to order in hard copy tomorrow from TSO. The Act runs to 388 pages and 4.5 Mb as a download from the web.
* Although welcome, this contradicts assurances we were twice given last week by the House of Lords Bill Office (responsible for preparing the Act for publication), via the Lords Information Office, that it would not be available until the end of this week.
Update 3 December 2004
The downloadable pdf version has now been replaced on the HMSO website by a copy in the standard html format.
A short guide to the Act and an outline of the timetable for commencing the main changes it contains is now available from the Pension Service's "Pension Reform" site.
